Housing for All

Our administration will work on housing solutions for all people in our beautiful city. Our problem-solving initiatives will include housing for our homeless and the housing insecure.

We will also be exploring initiatives for our community to be able to purchase not only their primary homes but also to invest in other properties here in our beautiful city. We will be offering free homeownership education and investor training to all interested persons of suitable purchasing age, with additional education for our children to learn in high school how to become homeowners and investors, themselves.

This will include retaining and acquiring city-owned property to offer training and employment such as sheetrock, painting, installations, and more that can be taught in a relatively short amount of time. There will also be new paths to education and employment in licensed professions such as electrical work and plumbing that may take more time. We aim to offer these opportunities with flexible schedules and for people to complete at their own pace.
